a vintage card {SOMETHING TATTERED}

hello crafty friends!

it is my turn on the SOMETHING TATTERED blog today and i've created an all occasions girly card with their GORGEOUS stamps!

to create this card i used various SOMETHING TATTERED stamps.

 for my background i used the PARLOR VINTAGE wallpaper background stamp with VERSAMARK watermark ink pad. i covered the stamped image with SPARKLE N SPRINKLE princess rose embossing powder [EP387] and heat embossed the set.

 to embellish the two pink hearts {TIM HOLTZ movers and shapers die "mini hearts" set} i used the SWIRLS stamp set with SNS log cabin embossing powder [EP397]

i die cut the leaves and the swirls with MARIANNE DESIGN dies. for the flowers i used SPELLBINDERS rose creations die and tissue paper. i used 6 layers of at least 3 sizes blossoms and adhered them on top of each other with glue dots. when ready i crumpled the petals to give them a distressed look and to cover the central part. then i covered them with VERSAMARK ink and sprinkled SNS princess rose embossing powder [EP387]. when you heat up the embossing powder, the flowers will crumble and stay in shape.

 to decorate the inside of my card i used SIZZIX 3-d pop up die as a template with pink, white and brown cardstock.

i've created two writing areas, which i decorated with stamped chandeliers from the OU LA LA chandelier stamp set

i altered the edges of the cardtock elements with SNS antiquities embossing powder

for the pop up part, i stamped the fancy frame from the SWIRLS stamp set with watermark ink, covered it with SNS princess rose embossing powder [EP387] and heat embossed it. after the image has cooled down i stamped the sentiment using watermark ink, SNS log cabin embossing powder [EP397] and the OU LA LA chandelier stamp set.

i hope i managed to inspire you today!
