family {PRIMA march BAP}

hello scrappy friends!

i have another layout to share with you today. this one i created for the PRIMA march BAP challenge and is called "FAMILY":

i have finally mastered the all around the page punch set of martha stewart! YAY!!! and since i'm convinced that they are the most AMAZING craft invention, i'll just keep using them!:-) i used a lot of different PRIMA products and various techniques on this layout as well. i made this layout for a dear friend of mine and i hope she will like it - it will be a part for her birthday present!

here are some close ups:

to create my flower clusters i used a lot of different PRIMA blooms -
camelot collection "squire"
coventry rose "pixie glen"
mini roses - blue
rose leaves

for the banner i used martha stewart "daisy fan" deep edge punch, PRIMA alencon collection tea stained apron border lace, scraps from different papers {i outlined the individual banners with a white pen}, spellbinders "nested lacey pennants" and almanac collection alphabet cardstock stickers.

i used several TIM HOLTZ' dies on this layout. the rickety house die i used as a family home. i cut out the fence and outlined the die cut with a white pen. i embellished the hose with resist canvas "printery shapes" {i blend two TIM HOLTZ' distress inks to achieve the colour i needed}. the paper lady is from PRIMA romantique collection.

the bird is from the birdsong collection "script". i coloured it with "broken china" distress ink.

the big clock die is also from TIM HOLTZ "weathered clock", which i coloured with "tea dye" distress ink.

for the background i used PRIMA "brick" clear stamps, colorbox brown ink and "old paper" distress ink. the punched heart is from MS "scroll heart" deep edge punch. i used a lot of e-line pearls and crystals on my page.

the papers are from PRIMA ledger paper pad and "printery" collection. the borders are made with martha stewart "cherish" set, "iron gate" set and PRIMA cling mounted stamps "romantique" {i circled the number 3, because there are 3 members in my friend's family}

it was a bit long post today, but i hope you enjoyed it!

come back tomorrow for the wednesday HEARTFELT CREATIONS reveal!

hugs 'n smiles,
Emmy

PS i just spotted my layout on PRIMA's blog! YAY! i'm featured on their march BAP winners post!
