JANUARY creations with DIE-VERSIONS

hello crafty friends!

i've got a few cards to share with you today, which i created with the wonderful dies from DIE-VERSIONS

for the first card i used our latest DIES & STAMPS sets release.

my favorite set is the MAKE a WISH diesstamps set. the images are so cute and so versatile, that they can be used for children and for grown ups, for boys and for girls, for anyone who has a special day!

how i did it: i mat the ruffled pink pattern paper panel {10 x 15 cm} on the white card base. then i die cut two ovals and i stamped my sentiment on the smaller one using RANGER brown ink and MAKE a WISH stamps set. i coloured the edge of the ovals with golden GELATOS and ruffled their edges with distress tool.

*****

for my second card today, i used the two exactly the same dies and stamps, but the effect is completely different:

i stamped the images with brown archival ink on white cardstock and colored them with different shades of pink and golden GELATOS. i used the MAKE A WISH dies and stamps set.

to frame the images i used DIE-VERSIONS "smile" sweet frame die to frame my images.

i shaped my embellishments and adhered the different layers with mounted tape.

as you can see - you can use one and the same die over and over again, and depending on the papers you use and the style you are trying - the effect is always wonderful and unique!

i hope i managed to inspire you today!

have a fabulous week!

shabby chic card {SA CRAFTERS}

hello scrappy friends!

it is my turn today on SA CRAFTERS' blog and i decided to create an all-occasions girly card with some of their lovely designs.

i started by altering the edges of the white base card with black ink pad. once i was satisfied with the result i took a card from PRIMA marketing 4 x 6" journaling cards pad {epiphany collection}, cut it to fit the card base, ruffled its edges with TIM HOLTZ paper distresser and adhered it with mounting foam tape.

for the second layer i used a card from PRIMA marketing 3x4" artist trading cards pad {epiphany collection}. i added a dimensional pattern on it using SA CRAFTERS 6x6" honeycomb stencil and texture paste. once the paste has dried, i mat the card on black cardstock and adhered it to the base using foam tape.

to frame the stamped sentiment {TIM HOLTZ good thoughts stamp set}, i used SA CRAFTERS chipboard frames 3 pieces set, which i altered with VERSAMARK watermark stamp pad and CLEARSNAP black embossing powder for the sides and TIM HOLTZ tattered rose embossing powder for the frame.

i used a combination of TIM HOLTZ old paper and spun sugar distress ink to give vintage look and feel to my quote. i altered the butterflies {mini butterflies 4 pcs. chipboard set} using the same heat embossing products. i added a dot of RANGER liquid pearls in the middle of the butterflies to give them more vintage look.

after i adhered all the chippies, i added the ribbon bow, the pearls and the mini roses {KAISERCRAFT} to finish off my design.

and here is the step-by-step YOUTUBE tutorial:

i hope you enjoyed my post!

thank you for visitng me and have a wonderful creative week everyone!

memories captured {KAISERCRAFT & MERLY IMPRESSIONS}

hello scrappy friends!

today i've got a brand new project to share with you! i created this one with KAISERCRAFT “close up” collection

"MEMORIES CAPTURED"

to create my background i trimmed 0.5 cm from each side of the APERTURE patter paper and inked the edges using TIM HOLTZ' mini distress ink pads kit 9 – dried marigold. then using TIM HOLTZ' paper distresser i ruffled the edges of my pattern paper and adhered it to KAISERCARD licorice weave cardstock with KAISERCRAFT 12mm double-sided tape.

to create the black pattern i used KAISERCRAFT clear stamp diamonds with black ink. then i added extra texture using RANGER INK texture paste and TIM HOLTZ' bubble layering stencil

the cute black cameras and the quote i stamped with the "CLOSE UP" clear stamps set matching the paper line and  black ink. then i splashed GLIMMER GLAZE to finish off the design of my background.

i fussy cut the lens quote from the FISH EYE pattern paper and decorated with stickers from the 12″ sticker sheet. i adhered it next to my picture using mounting foam tape.

to create the rest of my embellishments i used fuzzy cut elements from the 6.5″ paper pad…

… fussy cut cameras from the FOCUS pattern paper and die cut shapes from the COLLECTABLES pack

thank you for stopping by today!

have an amazing week!

REALITY HAS LIMITS {sa crafters}

hello scrappy friends!

this is my second project for SA CRAFTERS and i can honestly say that i LOVE their products! the designs, the shapes and the masks - everything works perfectly together and helps you to create your very own masterpiece!

for this layout i decided to work with last summer's pictures of THEO. he is really into the TRANSFORMERS now. the autobots are his heroes and more than everything in this world he would love to meet OPTIMUS PRIME.
when we were on vacation last summer, he found this graffiti on the street (the logo of the decepticons - the evil robots) and his first thought was "look, mommy, they are real!". he was so pleased and excited, and being a 4-year-old this was the only prove he needed to believe that they are walking among us.

"REALITY HAS LIMITS..."

for my layout i used FANCY PANTS DESIGNS "collecting moments" paper line and DCWV "tattered time" mini paper stack. after distressing the edges of the HOMEWORK pattern paper, i mat it onto a black cardstock. using SA CRAFTERS 6x6" brick wall stencil and modelling paste, i created the brick wall pattern on my background. then i stamped the gears pattern using DEEP RED STAMP and spattered TATTERED ANGELS "black olive" GLIMMER GLAZE

after everything has dried, i begin arranging my design. i altered the chipboard bricks {SA CRAFTERS chipboard brick wall no. 2} with VERSAMARK ink and DONNA SALAZAR black embossing powder. i didn't want cover the complete bricks, to give them worn out, distressed look.

i used FLOURISH WITH A BLING bella rhinestone flourishes black to frame one of my pictures and FWAB adhesive rhinestones 100 pack black to decorate my layout.

to embellish my pictures i used various pattern papers from the same collection and die cuts. i die cut a cardstock edge using TIM HOLTZ "scrollwork" on the edge die and i coloured it with RANGER "jet black" archival ink.

i printed the two TRANSFORMERS logos and the title on glossy picture paper and carefully fussy cut them to use them on my page.

and finally i added one of the wooden tags from the SENTIMENTS set 1 just as it was. i think it fits my colour palette perfectly and the saying matches exactly the meaning of my pictures!

i hope you enjoyed today's post!

with this layout i'm entering the FWAB january sketch challenge:

have a fun scrappy week!

ME captured {MERLY IMPRESSIONS & KAISERCRAFT}

hello KAISERCRAFT fans!

it is a new year and there are a lot of news to share and a lot of new craft goodies to work with!
i'm so excited that CHRISSY, the owner of MERLY IMPRESSIONS, invited me to stay in the team for another year! i really enjoy working with amazing ladies of this team!

this month i have the pleasure of designing with one of the newest KAISERCRAFT collections “CLOSE UP”. i really love this paper line – it has all the right images and embellishments for the perfect “in the spotlight” layout! so, i decided to begin this year with a page about me and one of the things i love best – travelling and taking pictures.

"ME CAPTURED"

for my background i used KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock. i stamped the edge of the cardstock using TIM HOLTZ mini distress ink pad kit 11 – tea dye and KAISERCRAFT film edges clear stamp. then i trimmed 0.5cm from each side of the LENS pattern paper, ruffled its edges with paper distresser and adhered it with KAISERCRAFT 12mm double-sided tape onto the white cardstock.

 to create the pattern on the background paper i used clear stamp diamonds with mini distress ink pad kit 3 – black soot. for the white dimensional pattern i used modelling paste and TIM HOLTZ bubble layering stencil.

i layered my pictures on an orange paper from the 6.5″ paper pad and embellished them with different die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack.

i also used 12" pattern papers from the “CLOSE UP” collection to fussy cut some more pretty images, like the vintage camera {FOCUS pattern paper} on the picture below…

...and the film strip {FILM pattern paper}. i added two quotes from the 6.5″ paper pad in two of the “windows” of the orange film strip and i stamped the word DREAM in the third one {KAISERCRAFT clear stamps life sentiments}.

to finish off my design i added two stamped phrases using KAISERCRAFT captured moments document clear stamps and PEARLS lush.

i hope you enjoyed today’s post!

have a happy scrappy weekend!
