it's all about family {DT work for heartfelt creations}

hello scrappy firends!

it is hard to believe that it is already the second wednesday in october! i guess whoever said "time flies when you are having fun" knew exactly when he is talking about...

and i'm having loads of fun... with the newest release from HEARTFELT CREATIONS  - the VINTAGE FLORET COLLECTION!!!

this is a beautiful collection of ancient luxury. this month’s paper release is similar to the wallpaper of a quaint parisian cafe. the textured flower stamps add a quiet delicacy to every project. the typography is a delightful combination of botanical growth and grandmother’s old typewriter stored away in the attic. there are 5 new precut stamp sets, one 12x12 paper collection, and one beautiful new exclusive spellbinders die designed for HEARTFELT CREATIONS.

heartfelt creations products used on this project:

i begun by covering a white cardstock with panpastels. for the border i used the sentiment from HC delicate aster vase set and ranger black archival ink. using donna downey's "poppies and peonies" mask and modeling paste i created the artistic flowers next to my picture. i colored them with panpastels as well.

using the cherry blossoms shapeabilities die i cut a few branches and arranged them around my picture. i embellished them with pink pearls and vintage blossoms.

then i stamped and die cut the large foliage with swirls {HC bella rose leaves set and HC belle rose die} and the small rose leaves {HC leaf medley set and foliage shapeabilities die} from greenish pattern paper.

for the vintage blossoms i used HC open vintage floret set, HC mini vintage floret set, HC vintage floret die, white cardstock and black ink. after die cutting the different size petals, i embossed their petals, colored the smaller ones with pink pastels and layered my flowers as pictured.

 to pimp up the smallest blossoms i added stickles "copper" glitter glue.

to finish off my layout i die cut a fancy border with HC decorative butterfly / border die and add it under my picture. the i cut the sentiment from the pattern paper and used it as a title to my layout.

i hope you liked today's post! i surely had a lot of fun creating this page!
