Pink vs. Blue

hello scrappy friends!

when i found out that my second child will be a boy, i started preparing a boyish room - everything in blue, jumping sheep, racing cars, etc.:-) of course i had to buy a completely new wardrobe for him, since he couldn't use the left overs from his sister. and when everything was finally ready... i just had to make these pictures!!! :-)

ELISE (my little girl) is the girlish girl ever. for her things are pink or they are not worth buying.  THEO - he is 9 months old and he doesn't really have an opinion (i can still buy his clothes without getting into trouble;-) and this is how i got the idea for this layout - pink vs. blue, girl vs. boy, sugar & spice vs. snips & snails:-)

i started with a white BAZZIL cardstock. i stamped the first border, stitched the second one, stamped the background and then i added the pictures and the embellishments.

i used DCWV nana's nursery paper line and die cuts:

the baby clothes i stamped and then coloured with copic ciao markers.

i hope you've enjoyed this post.

thank you for looking!

i love you deerly

hello scrappy friends!

finally i started on baby THEO's pictures. he is already 8 months old and this is the first layout i'm doing for him.

i used the amazing rita shimniok's sketch from BO BUNNY june sketch challenge.

when I bought this outfit for THEO i instantly knew the perfect paper line for his pictures - he is indeed a sweet little LOVE BANDIT! the adorable fawns, the little birdies and the other forest darlings captured me:-)

so, here is my take on this wonderful sketch with some close ups:

thanks for stopping by!

hugs 'n smiles,
